Nightcap Tab Timer does not collect, sell, or send any personal data.

What is stored

Your settings (default minutes, the last timer length you used, whether pinned tabs may be acted on) and your running timer (tab id, end time, and an optional name you type). These are kept only in your browser's local extension storage on your device.

What is not stored or read

The addresses, titles, or contents of your web pages, and your browsing history.

What is sent

Nothing. The extension makes no network requests. There is no analytics or tracking.

When timers are cleared

Running timers are cleared when the browser starts again and are never applied to any tab after a restart. Running timers are also cleared when the extension is installed or updated.

Deleting data

Removing the extension deletes everything it stored.
